Claus Paws Animal Hospital

This is a difficult review to leave because Megan is genuinely a sweet and caring person, and I trusted her with my animals for six years. I also volunteered with her rescue for about six months because I believed we shared the same desire to help animals and give back to the community. The staff and technicians at Claws & Paws have always been wonderful, and I have also had positive experiences with the other veterinarian. Unfortunately, Megan now appears to have far more on her plate than she can reasonably manage. I experienced serious problems with organization, communication, cleanliness, recordkeeping, and safety procedures. The standards I saw were not the same standards that made me trust her six years ago. What concerned me most was the lack of accountability when problems occurred. I was a volunteer—not the veterinarian or the person responsible for establishing medical and safety protocols—yet responsibility was repeatedly shifted onto me when I raised concerns. Mistakes can happen, and a community will often help someone correct them. However, that requires honesty, accountability, and a willingness to make changes. I still believe Megan has done many good things, and I sincerely hope she recognizes that she has taken on too much and puts proper organization and safety standards back in place. Sadly, I have lost the trust I once had and no longer feel comfortable bringing my animals to her. I am now looking for a new Vet.

Great vet to take your fur baby! I wish I had doctor as great as my pups vet!

Great atmosphere. Very nice staff and Dr. I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing place

Just moved here from Arizona, my senior dog started having major hip and joint pain. Scheduled a same day appointment. Emma and Dr Evert were so kind and gentle with my dog. Took great care of him and gave me a lot of options. Will continue using this veterinary office for all future needs. :)
