Brought my 11-year-old cat in for routine bloodwork, and what I watched during the draw has left me genuinely shaken. I won't be returning. The tech doing the draw on my cat's hind leg couldn't find the vein, and instead of stopping to reassess, kept pushing and pulling the needle in and out, over and over, with a speed and force that had nothing to do with careful technique, at least from what I could see. I was holding my cat and watched it happen up close. I've given and received IVs myself through military medical training, and I've had more blood draws as a patient than I can count. What I witnessed didn't look like a normal missed stick to me. It looked like my cat was being jabbed at repeatedly until something worked, and she got more distressed with every attempt. We stopped and switched to the other leg. That draw went clean, fast, and without any struggle, which is what makes me believe the first attempt wasn't just a difficult cat, but a technique problem. I called afterward and didn't hold back about how upset I was. To the practice's credit, the owner personally tried reaching me four times over the following days to talk it through, and I appreciate that they took it seriously instead of brushing it off. Still, I can't bring myself to go back. What I watched isn't something I can unsee, and I'm not willing to risk it again. I'm hoping this was an inexperienced tech having a rough day. If you're bringing your cat in, I'd just say pay attention to who's doing the draw and speak up right away if your animal seems to be struggling.

Please don’t take your cat here. The environment was extremely stressful and my cat was terrified. They do not care about your pet or you. They also use AI for their website. They also will charge you an insane amount for an appointment. Can’t think of anything nice about this place. 1/10

two years ago i would have told you i loved this place. but my cat died and i can’t get them to UNSUBSCRIBE ME from their emails. they’ve told me repeatedly they have but now i just mark it as spam. sorry to all the wonderful staff here. but this is so spammy i hate it so much. please remove me.
